HippyClay recently attended the 4th of July festival at Lincoln Park in Pittsburg, KS. The show was a great success (partly due to the fact, it was the first sunny day without rain for close to 3 weeks). The event saw many Pittsburg and Joplin area residents who enjoyed the greatest bar-b-que and live bands available in SE Kansas. HippyClay had a wonderful booth with several sets of fine earthenware dinnerware on display. The collection was completed with a few choice raku pieces fired earlier this spring and hadn't been able to make it to a viewing yet. They were very excited. To all the new HippyClay customers, I'd like to say thank you for making our shows possible! Several pieces are still available here on the site for those of you who may have passed up the piece you were looking at because your child demanded fireworks or a snow cone instead . The next event we'll be attending locally will be the art fair downtown during the Little Balkans Days festival. Stay tuned to the website for a sneak peak at some of the new products that will be introduced there.
