Mardi Gras Collection The Mardi Gras collection offers many traditional earthenware dinnerware items which have been handmade and finished with a beautifully simple crystal glaze that produces robin egg and cobalt blue bursts over a white background.   All works in this section are wheel thrown using some of the finest white earthenware clay available in the Ozarks.  This smooth clay body is a joy to throw on the wheel and provides for light-weight yet durable, daily usable ware that is both microwave and dishwasher safe.  New pieces are added to this and every collection here at HippyClay.com every few weeks so make sure to bookmark your favorite collections to revisit in the future.  If you find any piece you like such as a serving bowl or vase, and wish to build a whole set around it feel free to email with any questions.  I do a lot of custom work, and would be happy to chat with you about it.  Enjoy!
